Engagement Pictures

We went and got our engagement pictures done. They look so good! I'm so happy. Lindsey did an amazing job and it was so much fun! I was very happy with how Cody did, he didn't complain about it being cheesy or anything. I have my Bridals next Monday and I'm excited about that too!

Horrible Blogger

I know I'm bad at this. Nothing is happening or I would've updated. Promise. I am getting my engagements done on Friday! I'm excited. After that's done, we can finally get our announcements done then I can send those out. Then it's like this wedding thing is really happening. Yes! So Lindsey is doing the pictures and Chan is coming, it's gonna be so fun. Oh if anyone is reading this, you should check out her photo blog. http://aandlphoto.blogspot.com/ I think she's awesome. She'll be doing my bridals too.

Speaking of bridals, I have my next fitting on Monday! Maybe it'll be done :) That'd be cool. Oh and I'm going home in a couple weeks! I'll be home in 2 weeks from today! I'm so excited to go home. Mom and I will finish up our wedding planning and make sure everything is in order. Happy Day. Now all I need to do is find a place to live. Cody and I are working on it, but it sure is frustrating. Oh well, thus is life. We'll figure it out.

I'm trying to exercise more too, you know- lose weight for the big day. It doesn't seem to matter how I eat or how much I exercise, nothing happens. Any suggestions?? It's super irritating. Wish I was a guy sometimes, it seems easier for them. But I am glad I'm a girl, I prefer to look like me naked than a guy. Not mean, just honest :) The end, til next time.

Wedding Shopping

So my Mom bought my wedding dress today! I officially have it and my veil and shoes. I'm done! Well with my wedding clothes anyway. I got matching shoes and we found them in the first shoe place we walked into. It was meant to be. After that, we went to get mom her mother of the bride dress. We went to Nordstroms and looked but didn't find any dresses in the right color. Then we were on our way to Macy's and passed the Dress Barn.The first dress she tried on was it. It's a jewel toned deep purple and it's perfect. It is a great dress and it was super cheap. Good all around. Also in the shopping we went to Maurices and got a few shirts a piece and the same pair of awesome red shoes. We each got the same 2 shirts (and one different) and the same shoes. Twins. We also went to look for a temple dress and all of them were ugly. Didn't see a single normal one, all ugly. Oh well. I can look later. I have a few months.

After the shopping, we drove to Park City. Here I sit in the hotel room watching American Idol, now Bones, on my new laptop with my parents. Life is good. Oh so I got my new laptop last night and I was able to update my ipod for the first time in over 8 months. Happy Day!!!

Past the Holidays

Ok so I'm told I haven't updated my blog since Thanksgiving and it was a surprise! I guess I haven't. Here goes...

The Holidays came and went. Too quickly. It was so great to go home for a week and half and hang out with my family (minus Heather, Adam and Hunter). I was really sad to leave, especially to come back to Utah with snow and temps just over -3. Yes I mean -2. It's been cold.

Now I'm just concentrating on Wedding Planning. I'm almost done, just need a photographer I think. I did get my dress! Well I found it, I'm waiting for mom to come to buy it. She's coming in 2 weeks and it's taking so freaking long! January was the longest freaking month. It dragged like no other. I just want to see my parents and February can't come any slower than it has been. It's been very frustrating!

My honeymoon is booked and I'm just planning things to do while we're in South Lake Tahoe. I'm excited. I can't wait to get married. Cody's talking about it all reasonable, like he believes it's actually gonna happen and he'll have to be part of it. It's so refreshing after all the no cooperation I was getting :). I'll post pictures of my wedding dress whenever I get my bridals done. I'm so excited! did I mention that?

Thanksgiving!!

I know its been a loooong time! Sorry! Here we go. I got a new nephew and he's adorable, as seen in previous pictures. I have more. I also have some of vacation to Newport, OR with my fam and Cody. It was sooooo much fun! We didn't do a whole lot, the weather was cold and snowy. We went shopping, the boys went golfing, ate food, played Halo with eachother and strangers live, ate Thanksgiving Dinner!, went shopping more, played football on the beach, frisbee, walking on the beach, laid around. You know, vacation. I love being with my family the few weeks a year that I get to. Oh and I think we have a wedding date! Tentatively June 4. Details to follow. Woohoo! I'm excited much. Full October

So it seems like October was so busy and that lots of things happened. I'm sitting here trying to think of everything that did happen. I came up with a few things, way less than I'm sure took place this month. But I'll fill you in.

On October 11, 2010 my nephew Hunter Keith Ivey was born, he was 4 lbs. 10 oz. Heather was in labor for 7.5 hours, easy compared to many people's first babies. He was due on November 11 so he's a month early. I finally got to Skype with him a couple nights ago. That was great! He's sooooo cute!! I can't wait to see him in person. That happens in 3 weeks!

Chantiel's birthday was this month! I got her Beauty and the Beast. I got the same thing for Heather's birthday. They both got their present really early cause I was afraid that they would buy them before I gave it to them. And that's probably true for both because it's only available for a limited time. You know, then it goes back in "The Disney Vault". Love that movie, so I got me a copy too :)

My (our) dog died this month as well. She was 14 years old. You know, that means that she was our pet for more than half of my life. That's a freakin long time. I bawled a couple times this month thinking about her. I'm still sad. I miss her. She was a really good dog. Really good. I loved her.

Anyway, enough with the sad. It was Halloween today! I didn't do anything to celebrate. I gotta say, I'm pretty boring. I wanna have a Halloween party next year when I have my own place. And since most of my friends have kids, I'm not sure how that'll work. I've got a while to think about it. That also means that it's my Birthday in 3 days. I'll be a quarter of a century old. :) presents! Ok, I'm not so selfish that I think everyone should give me gifts. Seriously, I don't expect anyone to do that. But I'm not gonna lie, I love getting presents! Even little ones, it's just fun.

I'm gonna get to bed, lots to do this week and it's late. Need to sleep.

Holy Calves

So we had a girls night tonight that was just amazing as usual! I really do appreciate my time with a few close friends to chat and give each other advice and be goofy. It's really great time spent. We decided to go to Olive garden and left in a rush to get there because it was closing in 20 min. I'm sure they just loved us. We could tell how much our waitress hated us for being there, but who cares about grumpy people. It's your job. Don't like it? Get a new job. We had a blast and ate wonderful food, and this amazing triple chocolate mousse cake thingy.

After we left there, we went to Chan's house and hung out for a couple hours. I realized that I have the biggest, hardest calf muscles I have ever had in my life. Ballet is amazingly calf friendly. I have a rock hard knot of muscle in both legs! I literally said wow when I touched them tonight. Happy Day! I'm seeing a difference in my body after 4 weeks... It's the coolest. Now if I could only get the graceful down, that'd be awesome! Mostly I wanted to let you all know about my legs cause I was so excited about it when I realized. I got nothing else...
